Lavishly spacious senior rooms

As we entered the fourth year at IIT Kharagpur, final for some, we finally moved into the senior wing (IG) of our hall. The rooms we had been eyeing since our very first year were finally our own. At the rate the population of students at Kgp is growing, it wouldn't be surprising if these rooms are made double very soon. Thankfully we won't be around then.

It took me a couple of days, but I finally settled into my new room. I spent a lot of money on things I didn't need, just because it was so nice for once to have space to keep them. The best thing about these rooms are the closed cupboards. I was tired of living out of a box, as I could never keep my clothes in open shelves. This room also has a dressing table type area, with a big mirror and shelves of its own!

What I am trying to convey would be lost on people who have lived in private hostels.
The others will understand exactly what a big deal it is.
